We are not just any authorized Star Line Baton dealer, we have a special relationship that goes back to the late 50′s. My grandfather Merl Smith, along with George Walbridge and Ray Gaedke, purchased the Ludwig Baton Company and renamed it STAR LINE in 1959. He eventually gave up his part of the company in exchange for full ownership of Smith Walbridge Camp (now Smith Walbridge Clinics). Star Line is currently being run by the Crum family, who lived next door to the camp for several years. I just thought I would share some fun little factoids.
